sarah was born in san francisco and raised in the bay area. after graduating from the college preparatory school (oakland, ca) in 1996, she attended harvard university in cambridge, massachusetts, where she studied economics and french. post-college, sarah spent a few extended summers guiding multisport trips in alaska and the puget sound area of washington. sarah also attended the brooks insitute of photography where she was trained in film, print and flash.

in 2009, sarah completed her mba at the ucla anderson school of management. she has returned to san francisco and is thrilled to have the opportunity to once again photograph the city she loves so much.
